Finding your Oasis in Venice, Florida!
Oasis is a community within Wellen Park, which you will find in Southwest Florida. Oasis is part of West Villages. How can it be part of Wellen Park and West Villages? Great question and I am so glad you asked. Wellen Park has three distinct districts, West Villages District, the developing Playmore District, and Downtown Wellen (coming 2022) . Wellen Park is the third fastest growing planned community in the US. Wellen Park and especially Oasis are in a great location being just off of Highway 41/Tamiami Trail and on the outskirts of Venice, Englewood, North Port.
Oasis is unique among all the other communities in the West Villages, being one of the smaller communities, an enclave community if you will, plus provides homeowners a bit larger home sites. Within the community gates you will find only single-family homes. Most of the home sites enjoy preserve view or a view of the community “lakes”. The amenities are simple which help keep the HOA fees lower; Oasis offers a community pool, and pickle ball courts, and lawn maintenance. Also, homes cannot be leased for less than six months, with this restriction it will not be a community of vacationers. The community has sidewalks, and it connects to Blue Heron Park which is a dog friendly park with miles of walking/jogging trails. Gulf of Mexico beaches are close, only 9 miles to Manasota Key Beach, only 11 miles to Venice Beach, that is just two of the area beaches. Several area golf courses can be found, too. Spring Training Baseball at the CoolToday Park is just a couple miles away, Spring training home for the Atlanta Braves. Access to I-75 is just 7 miles. Oasis is a unique community creating more of the desirable subdivision-neighborhood vibe.
